This week, our podcast topic was education vs content building.
This was an open discussion between Ron and myself about our journey as hosts for photography retreats / workshops. We discussed the mindset we had when we initially started as well as our current mindset. Each time we host, we welcome feedback with all the details. Everything from how tickets are purchased, down to the scheduling of free time.
The take away from all of this has been that people like options. Some people want a learning environment, some people want to just focus on portfolio building content from our styled shoots, and some people are simply there for “the vibes”.
At the end of the episode we announced our latest retreat date!

How to sign up!

Simply let us know if you’re in and if you want us to help with accommodations or if you’d rather make arrangements on your own.
After we have a head count and we are aware of who does and does not want accommodations, we will know how to proceed with payment plans. We will shop for the best rate of course while finding a good location.
If you wish to make your own arrangements, we will hold your spot and there is no charge to you. You’ll need to take care of your own meals and transportation.
The two shoots will both be on the same evening. The last two hours before sunset.
We are limiting the amount of attendees to 12 people. First come first serve.
So be sure to send the email ASAP if you want us to a hold a spot for you.
